SUMMARY:Incredible World of Dogs Camp
DESCRIPTION:***This camp is FULL.  Second session added on 8/18-8/19! \nThis camp takes place on August 14 & 15 from 9:00am-1:30pm. Youth should bring a bag lunch each day. \nIn this special two-day\, canine-themed camp\, youth will explore the origins of how dogs became pets and through a variety of hands-on activities\, take a fascinating look at the world through their eyes! Students will also enjoy some super fun science-based activities that prove why dogs are so incredible! Topics will include: \n\nAncestry and Biology of Dogs\nHow Dogs See\, Hear\, Taste\, Walk\, Sleep\, Drink Water\, and More!\nThe Many Incredible Breeds of Dogs\nUnderstanding Canine Behavior and Body Language\nHow Shelters Care for Dogs in our Community and Help Them Get Adopted\nInteraction with Certified Therapy Dogs\n\nFor youth ages 7–14. Youth should bring a bag lunch. Taught by a Certified Humane Educator.
