We require approximately 8 weeks’ notice to book a birthday party.
Cost and How to Register
Cost: $250
A Birthday Party is a great opportunity to support our organization while having a special event for your child to remember!
To book your party, please complete our Birthday Party Form.
Note: applications should be submitted approximately eight weeks in advance.

What Is Included In A Birthday Party?
- A variety of animal-themed games and activities
- Educational tour of our adoption areas
- Visit with a Certified Therapy Dog or adoptable cat, kitten, or small animal
- Animal-themed prizes for games (every child is a winner)
- Use of our Training and Education room which includes a refrigerator/freezer, sink, tables, chairs, and plenty of counter space
- Staff assistance with set-up and clean-up
- LOTS OF FUN!
How Long Are Birthday Parties?
Birthday parties are 2 hours long.
What Is The Age Limit For Kids?
Our parties are for children 6–12 years of age.
How Many Guests Can Come?
Because we are a smaller shelter, we can accommodate up to 14 children and 18 total people, including children and adults.
Does A Parent Or Guardian Need To Stay For The Party?
Yes! A parent/guardian must be in attendance for the duration of the party.
Can You Decorate The Space Ahead Of Time?
Parents may arrive up to 30-45 minutes prior for set up. Decorating can be accommodated and staff can help assist. The meeting space will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after the party by our staff.
Are Food And Beverages Allowed?
Food, beverages, and treats may be brought in. EBHS staff will gladly assist with clean up.
