More than 5,000 people and their furry friends will come together at Mitchell Park in Brookfield on Saturday, September 26th for our 19th annual Wagfest event. This event helps raise money for Elmbrook Humane Society (EBHS) and offers an opportunity for animals and their people to come together as a community, to celebrate the bond between them. No canine companion? No problem! Everyone is welcome and admission is free.

Volunteer Requirements
Who Can Volunteer?
We’re looking for enthusiastic animal lovers and community members who want to help make Wagfest a success! No special experience is needed—just a willingness to have fun and help out.
 
You do not need to be a current EBHS volunteer to join the Wagfest team! This is a one-day volunteer opportunity and a great way to support EBHS, meet members of our community, and make a difference for shelter animals.
 
Volunteers ages 12–15 must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian. Volunteers ages 16–17 may volunteer with parental permission. Volunteers ages 18+ are welcome to volunteer independently.
 
Wagfest volunteers help with a variety of activities, guest support, and event needs.
Whether you’re a longtime animal advocate or simply looking for a fun way to give back, we’d love to have you join the Wagfest team! Email Nicole Latus at nicole@ebhs.org if you are interested! 
Before You Go

While we understand that everyone has different training philosophies, EBHS is a force free organization. Prong collars, choke collars, shock collars, and retractable leashes are not allowed at Wagfest. If you attend with a leash or collar that is not allowed, you will be asked to remove it. We have an exchange program for you to utilize while you attend the event.
