Incredible World of Dogs Camp

This camp takes place on August 14 & 15 from 9:00am-1:30pm. Youth should bring a bag lunch each day.
In this special two-day, canine-themed camp, youth will explore the origins of how dogs became pets and through a variety of hands-on activities, take a fascinating look at the world through their eyes! Students will also enjoy some super fun science-based activities that prove why dogs are so incredible! Topics will include:
- Ancestry and Biology of Dogs
- How Dogs See, Hear, Taste, Walk, Sleep, Drink Water, and More!
- The Many Incredible Breeds of Dogs
- Understanding Canine Behavior and Body Language
- How Shelters Care for Dogs in our Community and Help Them Get Adopted
- Interaction with Certified Therapy Dogs
For youth ages 7–14. Youth should bring a bag lunch. Taught by a Certified Humane Educator.
