If your neighbor’s dog is left outside without adequate shelter, food, or water, if you witness someone harming an animal, or if you suspect an animal may be suffering from abuse or neglect, it is important to take action. Unlike most victims of crime, animals cannot seek help for themselves. They rely on members of the community to speak up on their behalf.
