Young Veterinarian Camp

July 28 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

This camp will be held on July 28 & 29 from 9:00am-1:30pm. Youth should bring a bag lunch each day.

This younger version of our popular Veterinarian Camp will include a wide range of veterinary topics, behind-the-scenes learning opportunities, and hands-on activities including:

  • Animal intake exams, medical care, and diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
  • Caring for cats, dogs, and small animals along with animal behavior and enrichment
  • How shelters care for animals and create a fear free environment
  • Daily tasks in caring for shelter animals, learning games, interacting with Therapy Dogs, and SO much more!

For youth ages 7–12. Taught by a Certified Humane Educator and assisted by EBHS Animal Care Staff.
